Welcome to the Cancer Patient Support Foundation of Vermont

The Cancer Patient Support Foundation (CPSF) is an independent, nonprofit organization dedicated to enhacing and furthering the availability of comprehensive psychosocial services to cancer patients and their families throughout Vermont and Northern New York.  The Foundation's vision is that all who face cancer can do so with dignity, confidence and serenity. Contributions to CPSF make possible a range of supportive services, including psychological, nutritional counseling, educational programs, and emergency financial assistance.

Thirteen years ago this November I went in for my first (routine) colonoscopy. Three days later I was diagnosed with Colon Cancer to the surprise and shock of my entire family. What followed was four months of doctor’s appointment, further screenings, chemotherapy, radiation treatments and eventually surgery.
