The Cancer Patient Support Foundation (CPSF) is an independent, nonproﬁt organization dedicated to enhacing and furthering the availability of comprehensive psychosocial services to cancer patients and their families throughout Vermont and upstate New York. The Foundation's vision is that all who face cancer can do so with dignity, confidence and serenity. Contributions to CPSF make possible a range of supportive services, including psychological, nutritional counseling, educational programs, and emergency financial assistance.

At the First Annual Culinary Classic fundraiser, the celebrity judge for the Cancer Patient Support Foundation named Shawn Calley, Executive Chef at the Burlington Country Club the winner of the cup. As one of six local chefs competing for the award, Calley was chosen the top chef by Chef Rod Rehwinkel of Clear Culinary Consulting for his preparation of pheasant wrapped in house-made pancetta.
The Middlebury Otters and the Middlebury Mystix, two women’s community ice hockey teams, will proudly host the 17th annual “Face Off Against Breast Cancer” hockey tournament on Saturday and Sunday, January 30 and 31, 2016 at the Memorial Sports Center in Middlebury. The tournament raises about $70,000 annually for the Cancer Patient Support Foundation of Vermont. Over the course of its history, the Face Off Against Breast Cancer (FOABC) has raised over half a million dollars for charity, prompting the organizers to dub it “Half a Million Strong.”
