Kathleen McBeth, MA - CPSP Coordinator

Kathleen McBeth, is the full time coordinator with the Cancer Patient Support Program. She is a Licensed Psychologist, with a focus on health psychology and adjustment to illness.
Kathleen obtained her master’s in Clinical Psychology from St. Michael’s College in Colchester Vermont. She was an intern at the Cancer Patient Support Program and is delighted to return as the coordinator. Kathleen facilitated the Vermont Community Depression Project, has been a presenter at the Weekend of Hope, Stowe, VT, and the Lymphoma Symposium, Dartmouth Hospital, Lebanon, NH.
Kathleen is a cancer survivor and after her own treatment she returned to school to “give back” by providing psychological services to survivors and their families. In her free time she enjoys hiking and backwoods cross country skiing with her dog, being with her family, knitting, reading, and having a good laugh.
Rose B. Colletti, PhD
Rose B. Colletti, PhD, is a staff psychologist with the
Cancer Patient Support Program. She is a
Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Surgery, Section of Surgical
Oncology at the University of Vermont.
Dr. Colletti obtained her doctorate in Clinical Psychology
from the University of Pittsburgh,
and has worked in private practice as well as the community mental health
sector. She was involved in a recent
research project with a former University
of Vermont faculty member which
compared different types of group intervention with breast cancer survivors. It was this research that sparked her
interest in providing clinical services within the outpatient setting to
survivors of all types of cancer.
Dr. Colletti’s professional interests include providing
support and teaching coping skills to individuals and families who are touched
by cancer as well as networking with community mental health professionals who
provide services to survivors in the private sector. In her free time she enjoys physical
activities, spending time with family and friends, and traveling to new places.

Stephanie Fraser, MSW
Stephanie Fraser is a Hematology/Oncology Social Worker II,
covering the outpatient clinic at Fletcher Allen Health Care. In addition, Ms.
Fraser helps manage and administer the Cancer Patient Support Program's
Emergency Fund, a fund created to provide emergency relief to patients who find
themselves in financial crisis due to their illness.
Ms. Fraser is uniquely qualified for this position from both
the educational and life-experience perspectives. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Social
Work from Trinity College
in Burlington, Vermont
and completed her Masters in Social Work at the University
of Vermont. Ms. Fraser had been a
social worker for cancer patients for seven years when she was diagnosed with
ovarian cancer in 2005. Stephanie began
chemotherapy in December of 2005 and continued every three weeks through March
of 2006.
An avid bicyclist, Stephanie was accustomed to
life-threatening medical situations; for more than 26 years, she has lived with
a kidney transplant. By September, she was strong enough to ride her bicycle
100 miles for the Lance Armstrong Foundation LiveSTRONG Challenge and raised
$5,000 for the foundation. She was also one of 700 people chosen to attend the
inaugural LiveSTRONG Summit of the Lance Armstrong Foundation, where she met
Lance Armstrong for the first time. The
goal of the Austin, Texas
event was to broaden the awareness of physical, emotional and practical unmet
needs of those living with cancer.
Stephanie lives in Williston with her husband, Kent and
eight year-old daughter, Abby and two dogs. She is interested in photography
and keeping physically active year round by endurance bicycling, bike racing,
hiking, snowshoeing and skiing.
Jennifer Ohler-May, RD, CD

Jennifer May is a Registered Dietitian working full-time with the Cancer Patient Support Program. She provides nutrition counseling to patients at the cancer clinic at Fletcher Allen Health Care and offers workshops and lectures to the community on various cancer and cancer prevention topics.
Ms. May received her Bachelor's of Science in Dietetics/Nutrition & Food Sciences at the University of Vermont and completed her dietetic internship at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston. Her experiences have allowed her to work with a diverse group of clients, in a variety of settings, and with a vast array of medical conditions/concerns. More specifically, her background includes, developing lesson plans and providing nutrition education to youth, working with cancer patients at Dana Farber Cancer Institute, and providing nutrition counseling to diabetics. Jennifer is happy to be back in Vermont, where her family and husband reside. If she's not working you can find her cooking, working out, reading, painting, or enjoying good food!
